Tracy, I have 4 crates in the house that the dogs go in and out
of at will. Never had a problem in all these years except for
these 2 incidents. The crates that both my dogs got caught on
were the General Cage crates because of the door latch design.
I've opted for no collars but generally don't recommend that
other people do so. Even a rolled leather collar could get caught
on these latches and cause injury and as I can't afford to
replace the crates, the dogs go without collars in the house.
