Seeing it appears to be mostly an abrasion, and not a puncture-type of wound, 
I would tend to use something like Neosporin on this type of wound.  Even on 
the nose.  We used Neosporin on may types of animals (cats, rats, and dogs), 
and it never seemed to hurt them if they licked it off.

Now you why the boxer is in obedience training :-)
