Why should Lene pay this in order for them to have the puppy they have already
purchased prior to the injury? Accidents happen and this was not the result
of any neglect or cause from him. He has already offered and recommended a
replacement. If they are foolish enough to keep this injured pup only because
of the color they are extremely unwise. Their decision, theirs solely. For
Lene to hold the puppy back would violate the agreement. Although I agree he
should try to change their mind. He might have them sign a statement saying
they know the puppy was injured prior to their taking him and require them to
return it to him should they want or certainly prior to discarding the pup
otherwise. He might agree to supply a replacement, which I believe he already
has done so.
