Here is the reply I got to my question about how TTouch helps with behavior
problems:

 Janice,

TTouch helps solve problems by helping to build a different kind of bond
with the animal. The time spent with the technique not only relaxes the dog
and makes it more open to training, it relaxes the owner and makes it
possible to use more understanding training methods. IOW, if the dog is
relaxed, it is more likely to pay attention to commands and to learn
commands taught in a gentle way, and the owner is less likely to escalate
the bad behavior by using inappropriate corrections out of frustration.

Susan Spalter, the TTouch practitioner in the DOG articles, has a website.
I don't have the URL handy, but you can likely find it via a web search.

 Good luck,
