[PyrNet-L] Rescue information

There are three Pyrs at the Colorado Springs (Colorado) humane society,
two look like pure breds, the other I'm not sure about. Two are being held
in the strays area, but they come up for adoption this week.  The third
just came up for adoption today.

I spoke to one of the volunteers there, and they said that they keep the
dogs for "as long as it takes".  But I'm sure eventually they end up
putting dogs down when they can't get them adopted.

So I guess what I'm asking is, what now?  I checked on the web and didn't
find any rescue organizations for this area.  I can't take any of them
right now, or I'd have brought home the girl that's available.  Her weight
was listed at 90lbs, but she really needs to put on some pounds.  I could
see her ribs through her coat, and her stomach was really tiny.  

Any suggestiongs?
