[PyrNet-L] crates
Hi guys,
Kathy was really concerned about Heidi injuring herself in the crate after some
of the posts sometime ago. We have an, el grande, from MidWest
Co.. It is a foldable one so we were somewhat nervious about her
popping it partially open and getting caught. My solution is one
that cost a few cents. I've purchased plastic cable ties and used
them up and down the front and back sides and across the top.
This has really stiffened up the crate. They are available just about
every where and can be trimed or removed with scissors. We
also have the crate in one of the doorways into the kitchen so it would be hard
for her to rock it side to side.
'Course her shape shifting
personna has yet to emerge so she hasn't learned to unlock the
crate. We're starting to let her out when we go out for little
trips and has the run of the kitchen area with 'Bear. Either
of them could easily knock down the gates baring them but
haven't. I'm sure there will be a day when we come home and
find them both on the bed.
