Re: [PyrNet-L] Adding to my life
Tom,
I will leave the technical advice to those more knowledgeable than I. Paddy
and I would like to welcome you to the list. I have had Pyrs for over ten
years and can say that they fit well into a busy or casual lifestyle. All my
Pyrs and my Tibetan Spaniels are trained obedience dogs and do therapy work.
They also have participated in agility (an obstacle course for dogs.) You
will find Pyrs have one *fault* which may or may not be a consideration.
They can be *shapeshifters* meaning that they can get out of the smallest
opening you can imagine and end up staring at you with a "you got a problem
with this* look and go on about their business of guarding their flock (you)
or just patrolling their fence line.
Pyrs do need a *job* like many breeds and my own experience is that the busier
they are the less likely they are to get into mischief.
Just my two kibbles worth! Welcome!
Stephanie and Paddy
