Well, I
checked Belle and Zuni today to see, and came up with the surprise
that Belle
had two on each, but Zuni only had one on each foot. They are litter
mates as
far as we know since they are rescues, but I was just wondering if
that is
possible to come up in the same litter. Can anyone tell me? >>
One of my males has single dewclaws on each hind leg, it's not
uncommon. There was only 2 males in this particular litter (and 5
females!) and I wanted a male but was 3rd on the list and the 1st 2
wanted males also. I got one of the males because the person ahead of
me opted to wait til the next litter because she wanted a show male
and mine had just the single dewclaws. It doesn't disqualify them,
but from what I understand it adds points against them. In this case
I'm glad mine has just singles-otherwise I wouldn't have gotten him
:-)
