Just following up on this... it appears that the PBeM server doesn't
make a distinction of uppercase/lowercase in passwords and stores them
internally as all lowercase.

The web interface is, however, case-sensitive. A password set as
"MyPASSWoRd" will have to be input as "mypassword" to get into the web
interface.
