I would like to bring up the original idea that was proposed for those
who may have missed it.

The idea was to make a game that would be continuously updated and one
in which any player could make a move in at any time.  These moves would
be incorporated into the game instantly.  Also, it would not matter if 
any player "missed" a turn or if any player made many turns in a row, the
game would progress with any and all moves submitted by players.

Many people suggested a form of "Life" where each player would control
a color of cell.  As the generations progressed, any player could manipulate
his cells (within certain limitations) in order to kill off other players
and win the game by being the sole color left on the board.  If a player
missed his turn(s) the generations would still occur.
