Re: [HOE] Lost Colony.....A sad day for me
I completely understand what your saying. I have been playing Deadlands
since the first edition of the weird west hit the stands. I am a big fan of
Hell on Earth and enjoy playing it more and have waited forever it seems for
the first Lost Colony book to come out.
I went to my favorite game store and lo and behold they had a copy of it on
there stands. This is a rare occurance as the last few HOE books I have had
to order from PEG directly since for some reason none of the game stores in
my area carried them.
So there I was excited that I finally had it in my grasp. $25.00 dollars
didnt seem unreasonable for the size of the book and then......I opened the
book and did a once over and......I put it back. $25.00 dollars for half a
book, I just couldnt do it. Honestly the lay out I thought was horrible and
it seemed to me that D20 was given preferential treatment.
As I said a sad day for me...first time I have not purchased a PEG product.
I am afraid it will probably not be the last.
