Well, first... being near the "Holiest City" in Both Jewish, Christian, and
Muslim Religions.. I can think of 2 things.
1)The Fear Alone in this area would be enough to make all the petroleum lead
to a side to side operation of Ghost Rock. They might not be the biggest
supplier to the US/CS but in that area they would hafta have a pretty good
market.
2)Due to the instability of some of the regimes or the corruption of
others... I am taking that there is both a powerful religious aura around
the area and a possible evil aura in the corruption. I wouldn't be
surprised if the fighting was more intense here during the Ghost Rock Frenzy
that followed after the report. The hatred of Palestinians and Israelis
probably would have made the US/CS border skirmishes look like cat fights.
