You could look at the fact that the radiation was caused by ghostrock and
isn't the ghostrock the souls of of the damned, or something like that (my
book learning is impaired due to the fact that my two marshals don't let me
read the priveledged sections).

Then it could be that the irradiated blood is like hyped up blood.  Steroids
for vampires! (Watch out, Gangrel and the Brood!)
