[HOE] DENVER d20

I have attached my latest d20 conversions for the Roach Soldier and Roach
Commander. I'm rather pleased with 'em except I think I could be off with
the CR. If you're not a Marshal, don't look down...

I think a good novel would be where a bunch
of men on a ship are looking for a whale.
They look and look, but you know what? They
never find him. And you know why they never
find him? It doesn't say. The book leaves
it up to you, the reader, to decide. Then,
at the very end, there's a page that you can
lick and it tastes like Kool-Aid.

A product of an Agency-sponsored espionage program at the
University of Colorado, these creatures were developed as covert
intelligence tools. Given a modicum of intelligence and equipped
with micro-video cameras, these bugs could infiltrate and
broadcast information to their controllers.
Unfortunately, Judgment Day interrupted the experiments, and the
ensuing radiation and mutation from the newly-formed Deadland gave
them not only a higher intelligence, but the size and malevolence
to use it against man.
Command cockroaches are the size of a small horse, but can move
amazingly quickly for their size. They prefer to let the soldier
bugs do the fighting, but can spit a corrosive vomit in support of
their troops when needed.

Combat
Bug Juice (Ex): May spit a stream of oily, black liquid up to 15
feet away, and up to 6 times every 12 hours. This attack is a
ranged touch attack, so the target's AC does not include any armor
bonus, shield bonus, or natural armor bonus. The corrosive fluid
causes 1d8+2 acid damage minus the sum of the target's armor
bonus, shield bonus, and natural armor bonus; Reflex half DC 14.
Additionally, if the putrid liquid successfully hits, it will
nauseate a living creature (Fortitude DC 14 negates, +4 bonus if
Reflex successful). The only action a nauseated creature can take
is a single move (or move-equivalent action) per turn (which
may include washing off the liquid). A nauseated creature is
allowed Fortitude DC 14 to negate with cumulative +1 bonus each
turn (restarting process if hit with another stream of bug juice).
As an optional rule, every 3 successful hits reduce the target's
armor bonus, shield bonus, or natural armor bonus by 1 until the
damage is repaired or healed.
Improved Grab (Ex): To use this ability, the roach commander
must hit with its bite attack.
Hive Mind (Ex): The roach commander is in mental contact with
his roach troops at all times. It sees and hears what those under
its control see and hear. This control may include up to 20 roach
soldiers and 2,000 normal roaches.
Light Sensitivity (Ex): Roach soldiers suffer a -1 circumstance
penalty to all attack rolls, saves, and checks while operating in
bright light.
Skills: A roach commander receives a +3 racial bonus to the Climb
skill, and a +2 bonus to the Hide skill.
