[HOE] I think I might have created a monster
Ok, people. The annoying james wallace that has been posting is one of my
good friends and I'm the b*stard that told him about the listserv and have
since subjected you to his horrible punctuation and grammar, obscene
references, and starting an argument for the sake of arguing(and unless I'm
wrong Allan Seybert does manage the listserv, right? So I'm not alone in
thinking it's a bad idea to pop off at him.) James, when you get this, you
might get mad but it's for your own good. I'm apologizing for his behavior
and when he gets banned, I'll try not to be the one saying "I told you so."
I thought the listserv was a tool for Marshals and players to bounce ideas
off of each other, not a personal venting board.
Anyway, I still have a question. In my game (the one that I actually run),
one of the PCs wants to raise the CSS Kidd and give it to the people of Red
Stick. I'd appreciate it if anyone with naval/underwater welding expertise
or just a reasonable guessimate, could tell me what this would involve. I'm
thinking he has to find a crane, get to the River with it, pump all of the
water and silt out of the destroyer, patch the multitude of holes just to
get it floating. In addition, 13 years at the bottom of the Mississippi
means the wiring would be shot in most cases. Somebody let me know what you
think.
