[HOE] More Martyrs! (Long, Possible Spoilers)

I've just finished writing up Saint Holliday and Saint Sitgreaves so here they are! Once again, feedback appreciated!

Doc Holiday, Saint of Gunplay

John Henry "Doc" Holliday was an inhabitant of that time referred to in popular literature as the "Weird West". A canny gambler and deadly gunfighter (as well as a competent dentist), the Doc was no stranger to the abominations created by the Reckoning and although he didn’t go out of his way to hunt them down he did kill many in his relatively short life. He was very loyal to his friends, amoung them Wyatt Earp (another of our blessed Martyrs) whom he helped with the aid of his amazing shooting skills in the events surrounding the shoot-out at the OK Corral and the round-up of the Cowboy gang. If it hadn’t been for the Doc’s gunplay assisting him, then maybe Earp would not have survived to round up the Cowboy gang. Doc Holiday suffered from Tuberculosis most of his life, eventually succumbing to it and, strangely for our Martyrs, passing away peacefully in his bed.

The Deed:

The Doc appears to those Templars who side with their friends even in the face of death and danger. To those who he blesses he aids by giving them a part of his legendary shooting skills.

Doc Holliday, Saint of Gunplay

Deed: There are two ways to atract the attention of Doc Holiday. The first way is if a friend forced into a situation where there is a very real chance of death and the Templar is not obligated to go with him then if the Templar does go with him he attracts the attention of the Doc. The second way is if the Templar has Wyatt Earp as a saint and performs a deed that would earn Earp again then he earns the Doc instead.

White: By spending a white the Templar gets +2 to all shootin’, ridicule and overawe rolls for his faith in rounds.

Red: By spending a red chip the Templar has his Deftness increased by two steps for his faith in minutes.

Blue: By spending a blue chip the Templar becomes a master shot, having his shootin’ aptitude doubled for his faith in rounds.

Legend: Your Templar is able to pull off a "killing shot" by spending a Legend Chip. In order to perform a Killing Shot the Templar must make a called shot to the head (-6 penalty), if he succeeds then the target dies instantly. This affects anything with a head even if armour would otherwise prevent the bullet from getting through. It dosen’t however affect servitors or abominations with specific weaknesses.

Vexation: The Doc was incredibly loyal to the friends he did have and would have followed them to Hell itself. If your Templar fails to help, support or protect his friends or companions then the Doc immediately forsakes him.

R Percy Sitgreaves, Patron Saint of Junkers

R Percy Sitgreaves was the first Junker, though not in their current form. He was the one who created the theories and principles by which Junkers base their own form of magic on in his own Thaumaturgic Diffusion; building devices by the use of forcing the Manitous of the Hunting Grounds to aid in the construction process. Later in his life he also discoveresd the fledgling Tech Spirits and actually began adopting his Thaumaturgic Diffusion process to use the Tech Spirits instead. Sadly however he disappeared after being stalked for many months by a beast known only as "The Gorgon" and his final fate is unknown.

The Deed:

Similarly to Saint Rising, Saint Sitgreaves has only appeared to a Companion who was a Junker. He blesses Junker Companions who build devices designed to help settlements deemed worthy of aid by the beliefs of the Templars. To those blessed by him he offers the aid of Tech Spirits called "Browsers" that the Junker Companion mightn’t have.

R Percy Sitgreaves, Patron Saint of Junkers

Deed: Sitgreaves appears to Junker Companions who build a device designed for the sole purpose of aiding a settlement. It has to be a settlement deemed worthy by the Junker and the device has to aid the entire settlement so a new rifle for a militia member won’t cut it. A power generator or a machine that makes medicines will earn Sitgreaves attention however.

Sitgreaves abilites work differently to other Martyrs in that he can mimc the abilites of a browser. If your Junker has Sitgreaves as a Saint then he can spend chips on a Browser he dosen’t have. However he can only use each Browser he dosen’t have once a day. Consider this ability to be level 5 Browsers.

Vexation: Sitgreaves was appalled by the use of New Science as a means of building weapons of mass destruction and is similarly appalled by Junkers who use Junker Magic for the same purpose. If your Junker builds a weapon designed to kill several people simultaneously then he is immediatley forsaken. What exactly falls under the category

"weapon designed to kill several people" is up to the Marshal but in general things like Machine Guns and Bombs and Missiles is what we mean.

By the way Bruce Lee sounds like a good Martyr but why not Jackie Chan? I like Jackie Chan better personally. And Mark Twain actually sounds like a good idea. I'm looking forward to seeing those two!
