Ok. Some of the Material in Denver gave me an idea. THose damn nazis are
playing around with the DNA of abominations and mixing it with people right?
What if the results maintained its inteligence? Particularly the Wormling
Hybrid. A wormling is basically have man and half rattler already, so these
hybrids are about 1/4 rattler and 3/4 man, and esentially made out of two
people. After the events of the Unity, Throckmorton is sure to be looking for
extra sources of troops. He orders his scientists to refine their hybrid process
to make them smarter and able to reson and problem solve more efficiently. Then
once a few are ready to go some "escape", like some slaves "escape" from time to
time. the wormlings headbangers also have tracking devices. So how about a PC
Wormling Hybrid? They'd have little memory and their memories would be very
confused, since they are coming from two sources, the human that got pulled into
surgery, and the former human that was turned into a wormling. I don't have all
the details yet, but I have stat adjustments, and a hindrance for them. I'd like
to also make a table to draw from for the hybrid memories and the state of his
mind. I'm gonig to experiment with this soon. I'm going to take one of my best
players aside and have him agree to this before I even tell him what it is and
watch how it goes.
Wormling Hybrid -5: Your waster has little or no memory of his past. al he
know is he woke up one day with scavenged army uniform, some Combine equipment
and tentacles coming out of his mouth. The unfortunate waster is the genetic
engeneered result of combining a Wormling with Human. and he's very confused.
Nimblness gains 2 steps, Strength and Quickness gain
1 step and Mien, Knowledge, and Smarts all
lose 1 step. The hero can burrow in the ground at a pace of 6, can see in
all but complete darkness as if it were day, has claws that deal STR+2d8 damage,
and can spit acid (Range 2, Speed 2, ROF 1, damage 2d10). Unlike the Hybrids
listed in Denver, these fellows have NOT been given the super soldier serum.
This was to keep them a little more sane and inteligent. He is automatically
Ugly as Sin -3 (does not count towards starting points) and has a Terror score
of 7 when someone sees him is his full gory, er, i mean glory. Even without the
Super Soldier Serum, the brainers mind has been a little altered by the tramatic
experience you must take -5 points worth of hindrances from the following list
(These do not count towards starting points either); All Thumbs -2, Bad Ears -3,
Bad Eyes -3, Bloodthirsty -2, Clueless-3, Death Wish -5, Heavy Sleeper -1,
Illiterate -3, Impulsive -3, Loco -1- -3, Lyin' eyes -3, Mean as a Ratler -2,
Night Terrors -5, Tuckered -1- -3, Vengeful -3. The worm boy may have a name,
but he's not entirly sure its really his name. His headbanger allows him to use
Combine equipment, however EMP and the like, as well as Red Hats, Green Hats,
and Grey Hats may still set off the chip. The worm boy starts with a one
piece jump suit, a combine weapon with an extra clip and $50 worth of goods. He
cannot start with Belongin's or Dinero.
