Re: [HOE] Witch Familiars (comments and help wanted)

Living in Florida, I get a lot of, um, experience with alligators ("Nope,
I'll take the one stroke penalty, and the gator can keep the flipping golf
ball."). They don't breath water, but they can hold their breath for a very
long time. (They tend to drown their food, unless they get a lucky bite in
and snap a duck's neck. They store it underwater regardless, to make it all
fall-off-the-bone tender. Their teeth and feet just aren't built or
positioned to bite off bite-sized pieces. They can't put a foot on a
carcass and tear off a chunk with their teeth.) 'Course, while this sounds
logical, I do get some of this info from TV, so it might not be completely
accurate. Any zoologists on the list?

A very Deadlands-ish animal, when you get right down to it, ain't it?
