alas, one of the reason the program saw the light of day in the first 
place is so that I can hone my perl skills, adding another language just 
isnt possible right now :-(

I'd love to help, but I'm not sure I've got the time (or skill!) to help 
properly.  and Perl is my only real programming language (unless you 
count COBOL :-)
Once I've finished the assorted other stuff I've been meaning to do 
programming wise, I'll join up and help where I can..
