Hmmmm, you all have valid points.... I guess where I'm coming from is in
Something About a Sword, there is a mention of a Junker made EMP bomb & I
was trying to figure out how it was made, & if something like that could be
made into a gun of some sort. I have this character in mind of a Junker
that is extremely pacifistic. His big hang up is enough folks have been
killed already; killing any more humans is just helping the bad guys all
that more. THE Bad Guys, not the black hats, etc. So, I'd be looking into
making weapons that do stun damage v. humans, some sort of killing gun for
electronic buggers (zombie brains in tanks to NOT count as human), & some
sort of lethal gun for abominations. Figured the best way to kill cyborgs &
automatons would be to short them out.
OOOHHH!!! Had a nasty thought. Most electronic gear around cities are
fried, right? So most of that fried stuff is still there for the picking.
How about making a electronic device out of fried parts, just for that
eventual encounter with a Doomsayer/bringer who decides first to do an EMP
to short out your stuff? Heh-heh, "thanks, friend..." ZZZZZZAAAPPP!!!
