The problem with this is that the Reckoners don't have anything to do with junkerin'.  They were the source of Mad Science, which junker tech was based on, but junkers do all the spirit wranglin' themselves.  Remember the bit in the Healing power about how junkers are proud that their science can cure people while Mad Science never quite got it right?

I personally think that the idea of a scrapper character with a junker-built heart is a cool concept; sort of a Doc Hollidayesque death-wish hero, trying to do something useful in life before his metal heart just vanishes.
