I'd say that the pet would stay with the deader; this is probably the
only case in which it would.  As for the infiltrator bit, the Infiltrator
unit does eliminate any negatve reactions from animals; this is one of
the main resons they were invented (as early cultists used dogs to sniff
out cans).  But since no one's gonna die and then wake up as an
infiltrator, I doubt that the dog's gonna have to make that decision.
Now here's a question:
If someone has a Faithful pet, and the pet dies, should it get a bonus to
come back to stay by the hero's side?
