[HOE] drawing a bead WAS: A question asked before, but need more helpplease

I got what you meant Jeff, and the picture worked.
But also remember that pistols are less accurate because they also have
less time to impart balancing spin on the bullet (I think).
Anyway, this brought an interesting idea to mind:
Having the results of drawing a bead be different for different guns.
Something simple like:
TYPE BONUS PER "BEAD"
shotguns and powers (doomies, sykers, etc.) +1
pistols and other RI 10 guns (not shotguns) +2
rifles and other RI 20+ guns +3
This would solve a problem that's bugged me for awhile:
"Ok, they're 210yds. out so you need a 15 to hit with that rifle."
"15?!? My half-blind grandmother could hit a guy at 200 yds. with a long
rifle."
"Well you can draw 3 beads and make it a 9..."
"My shooting is 5d8, that's still suck odds."
It just doesn't make since for rifles to be THAT hard to hit long range
STATIONARY targets with.
