Agreed. It is akin to Beretta offering a 9mm, a .40, and a .45 in a
similar styled handgun.
That and the Desert Eagle is around $1000 (approx) new, 2000 dollars. It
would be more expensive later, since manufacturing has ceased.

get one choice with it. The barrel of the DE is essentially [again,
IIRC] an integral part of the gun and would be difficult to swap out, in
addition to the chamber, magazine, recoil springs, and would also
require a magazine adapter to fit the shorter cartidges.
The .440 Corbon is essentially a "wildcat" cartridge. A .44 shell with a
heavier bullet and higher power load, IIRC. It's kind of like a custom
round and difficult to find, unless you can find a good gunstore.
