Look at it this way, how many different planes does the United States fly? How many different fighters? 

Two bombers (B-52 & B1B) at least one fighter bomber  (F-15 with one on the way F-22) two tactical fighters   (F-16 & F-14) and a few others (A-10 etc..). Why does the United States have so many planes? Capability, and flexability. Now the there are all ready signs of how another global war would be fought, if we have one. The keys to this war are stealth, mobility, and reaction.

Both Cyborgs and Battle suits give you fast, mobile, capabilites, why would a world power, with nearly unlimited resources, limit themselves to just one? Have you ever know a military program to go cheap? Especially with the reckoners minipulating behind the scenes?
