You can't, unless you're a junker or an accomplished mechanical engineer with a
construction garage, and even then you probably wouldn't want to. Changing the
suspension type would require you to rebuild a lot of the vehicle's frame from
scratch, and even if you could do that the resulting vehicle would be an
ineffective hodge-podge--a Ferrari with an off-road suspension would lose the
ability to grip the road at high speeds with out gaining the weight and
sturdiness needed for serious off-road work, while an SUV with a racing
suspension would lose its off-road reliability without gaining the
maneuverability, streamlining, and high-end power needed to act like a sports
car.

As for a hover conversion, yikes. A car or truck engine can't even run a hover
turbine. By the time you'd ditched everything incompatible with the hover
system, there'd be nothing left but the seats.
