I can't see this one myself.

Commo is for making walkie-talkies, holographic projectors, modems, etc.

Sensor is the ability to detect things.  Assume that the basic I/O 
capability is built into the unit.

Now if you wanted to build a remote detector, a unit that you place 
somewhere that reports back to a central location, you would need both 
sensor and commo.
