No, HoE is set in America because it's about the American West. Look at east
of the miss. Don't see much "Truth, Justice, and the American Way" out there
do you?
I don't have a problem with your slant; i happen to think it's a very good
one. But seeing it as "America, home of the free" and the rest of the world
being nothing more than a collection of suburban nitwits who've never stood
up to anything is a fairly offensive statement to those on the list who
don't come from the USA. Now in case you think I'm being nasty, I'm not;
read "Rogue State" by William Blum and you will get a fairly good Idea why
sentiments such as these can be offensive to some people.
This is not American Bashing. But I found myself offended by these
statements and their implications.
