Great post ... except... come on, the 'American way' sheesh.  Suddenly
self-reliance is an American trademark? Based on the assumption that its
stick-tuitiveness (actually I'm not sure what the Hell this means.  Did you
just make it up? : ) ,  grit and guts, Australia should be much better off
then the American west.  So when that Australian Hell Down Under book comes
out I expect to see Australia portrayed as the bastion of strength that it
should be : )  In conclusion, barring one minor detail, good post. :)
