Like I said, to each his own.

But the old system just seems... silly to me:
Roll damage, use that to figure out wind, use That to figure out damage,
use THAT to figure out wind. What do you base the stun check on? The
initial damage result? The resulting wind? The resulting wounds from the
wind? Do you factor in the wind from the wounds from the wind?

I, personally, would trade a little realism to smooth out the process
better than this. 

Heck, say you can't get stunned, but the vigor check is to see if you took
more serious damage.
