[HOE] : GURPS

Hello all.

Still haven't gotten a response about the HoE playing cards, so I'll
let that drop for now.

Now, as far as GURPS goes.

*Deep Breth*

1) RPG brand loyalty is a religious issue (as in favorite, not in
god/buddah/etc). I don't think it belongs here.

2) *being a hypocrite by ignoring 1)* GURPS is BY FAR my favorite game
system.  I do not believe that any other system is better as a whole
thn GURPS. Granted, several things in GURPS are broken (don't get me
started on SUPERS). But as a whole it works better than any other
system (including Deadlands).

Their stupid (stupid stupid stupid) reliance on 3d6 aside, if you want
semi-realistic gmes, GURPS cannot be beaten.

3) I really belive that the GURPS Deadlands book will breathe more life
into DL/HoE in the way of new players.

Or... if PEGinc really is going to die like some of the naysayers
believe... GURPS Deadlnds will preserve the world/genre.

Myself, I think when people find out how cool Deadlnds is, they will
buy more of the products. Plain and Simple.

But get this through yer brainpains, back off'a GURPS or you'll be
sufferin' some lead poisoning, brainer. ;)
