I had a Scrapper in one of my posses, and the Junker went and built a cannon
to mount on their van that needed so much power the scrapper would charge it
while he slept. I told them that constantly plugging in to the cannon can
eventually degrade your Spirit Tap. I rolled Stability every time he plugged
in. If Instability accurse roll on Instability Table for the device and have
the Scrapper roll Spirit versus 7 (plus what ever the Stability roll missed
by). If the Spirit roll is failed I roll on Instability Table for his Spirit
Tap. If the Scrapper goes Bust on the Spirit roll, the Spirit Tap gains a
Reliability (starting at 18 and -2 for each time after). Once a Spirit Tap
has a Stability I roll Stability once a day if the Scrapper has systems on
all the time or once every time s/he divert power from it. Eventually it got
hairy for the Scrapper with Overload and his Spirit Tap (it gained a 16
Stability).
