[HOE] Post Time-Warp!

Is it just me or have the posts been out of sync?  The first posts I get
seem to reference something that comes along several posts later.  I checked
my inbox settings and I don't believe it's anything on my end.  Though I
could be wrong . . .

Several posts ago someone mentioned their frustration with the Great White
North sourcebook being delayed.  I have a question about other countries: 
Before the apocalypse the CSA and USA were in contact with the rest of the
world (though not necessarily on good terms with all countries).  The state
of these countries are unknown to the average American now
(post-apocalypse), but what about them before the war?  Don't the Librarians
have data somewhere that indicates how, for example, the situation was in
Russia before the bombs dropped?  Or can't some older characters remember
what it was like?  I know this is not necessarily "Western" , but the
American west did not and does not exist in a vacuum.  Anyway, this may not
even be an issue, since marshalls can add "flavor" to any of their games by
coming up with a backstory for some tranplanted Ruskies or Frenchmen, etc. 
I've just been wondering why hardly any mention was made as to the state of
the rest of the world (pre-apocalypse).
