Ok this is the total and uniqe opinion of one slightly twisted marshal.
Cryokensis- Field of study, makin stuff colder.
Possible uses- frezeing large ammounts of water for ice skateing, makeing it
snow over a small amount of ground, slowing someone down a lot, makeing cold
drinks at parties.
How it works- Your sycher uses the power of the hunting grounds to create a
portal to the hunting grounds. The area of the hunting grounds that it
opens to is inherently icy cold and thus draws out all the heat from an area
around the portal. The portal doesn't actually allow travel to the hunting
ground because of it's unstable nature and the power drawn from the sycher
isn't enough to open a real opening for physical matter to pass into.
Apply new powers as necessary.

Word to the wise. The black book (thinking you mean black circle) won't
discuss the hunting grounds any more than any other according to what I've
heard. The REAL black book isn't even on the product listing unless I've
missed it.
