[HOE] All Cyborg Party (Was: New and confused?)
My plan, so far, was to start the group of 'pre-canned' cyborgs out in Duex.
I'm placing my current WW character, a Harrowed Catholic priest (drew the
black joker during creation), who looks like Harvey Keitel in "From Dusk til
Dawn", in Duex as an NPC. I'm toying with the idea of him to a cyborg so
that he can get a spirit fetter. He has spiritual issues with the manitou
taking control and doing bad things, him being a man of the cloth and all.
The Fetter would stop the manitou, and a Power Focus would allow him to use
his Harrowed powers when needed.
Anyways, He's going through the Devil's Tower trilogy right now (I hope he
survives), and considers the defeat of both Stone and Grimme as his holy
mission. Since Duex is seems to be near Leavenworth, and sice Stone just
off'ed a local hero, the group, at the request of the Good Father, are going
to go hunt some Wendigos as an intro to Deadlands and Combat.
I figure I'll probably have the Good Father (who's recently picked up an
Intolerance: Cursing Hinderance. Yes it damn well applies to the Players
and GM!!! Sorry, Father) take them to Lost Angles to look more into what's
going on their. Let them deal with the Bishop for a while.
By then, they should long be out of ammo for their cyborg weapons, and
they'll probably head to Junkyard and all that fun. Maybe a brush with the
Combine on the way (to piss them off)
Anyways, at some point, after I waste a few of them, I'll have them make
traditional characters.

PS Any thoughts on a tracked cyborg? I was thinking of utilizing a legless
harrowed, used to the notion of no legs, as the basis for a mini tank, or
MLRS system (The multiple rocket launchers the Army has). He wouldn't go
crazy as easy as other deaders have.

On what,
So far, the campaign you've described has one of the best set ups I've
seen or heard of in HoE. A party of is the best and really only way to use
'cans. And the involuntariness of their canniness adds the perfect spirit!
Let me hear more. Who are the villains? Using mush from the Cyborg
book? Other sources? Do you want ideas on that front? I've always thought
something involving cyborg animals would be fun. Then again, an anti-can
combine hunt squad would be fun recurring villains.
