Re: [HOE] Faith and Protection
Masons don't have Saints. Catholics do, but Catholics don't necessarily
have Seargant York as the Saint of Sykers.
There's nothing in the Templar code that excludes them from believing in
Christianity or any ohter religion. Like it's been said already, Simon
had Faith:Templar and Faith: Christianity. Also, the Templars don't
actually worship the Saints, but they do venerate them is a very similar
fashion to the way Catholics do. It's not against any explicit Christian
doctrine to think that the Saints give you powers. I'd say that a lot of
Templar policies should fall under the "Pride" or "Wrath" categories of
the seven deadlies, though, and a Christian Templar would end up having
to make a lot of sinnin' rolls in his career. Turning the other cheek
ain't exactly their specialty.
