Re: [HOE] cyborg armour and contingincies

<Ya know, these cyborg comments might be spoilers, so I leave some space
just in case. Different marshal's different rules...>

Heavy combat infiltrator? Your borg will either not have much
armor/equipment, or won't look human. All the really heavy armor, hard
points, big guns won't fit _inside_ the human body, so heavy combat stuff
goes on the outside. Or replaces entire limbs, too. Even if your marshal
let you out of the armor, etc., you'd still look mighty weird with all those
power outlets and data ports and bolts sticking out of your skin.

They're called "heavy cans" because they look more like an automaton than a
human.

Now, if you meant a durable infiltrator, that makes perfect sense. Subdural
armor, a shield, that's more like it. Add the kevlar vest and motorcycle
helmet any cautious waster would wear, and you've got pretty good layered
armor without looking like a tank on legs. And if you can find a military
grade helmet, well, who wouldn't wear one? Infiltrator in a powered armor
suit? Yummy. Munchkin probably, but yummy.

Actually, my infiltrator isn't fully subdural armored, because of the
Nimbleness penalties. But that's just my tastes and character background.
He used to be an actor, and got "upgraded" for espionage work. Even has the
"Hearts and Minds" rule of engagement.
