I just like to step in here, as I have the dime novel right next to the
computer.  It states in the adventure that half the gangers (4) have hunting
rifles.  With the distance the survivors have to cross in the open, plus the
survivors have to pass two Fair (4) Nimbleness test just to Walk across the
monorail, increase difficulties if they are being shot at, or if they try
and run across.  I think they would have to be crazy to cross during the
day.  The only problem I have with this section of the adventure is that
they give a diff 7 sneak roll during the day.  That might be a little too
easy.
