Simple solution, drop the wound level by one for each level of armor, not
exactly mathematically sound, but when you figure that the average damage on 3d8
(without any aces) is 13.5, and damage on 3d6 (again without aces) is 10.5.  Or
you could take 1 pt of damage off for ever die they roll (the difference of the
average roll on two die types).  So if they roll 4d8, take off 4 points, if they
get any ace's, take off an additional point for each ace.

Make sense?  (Stands and waits for the math fiends to tell me why this is wrong,
cause I know it is... but it is a solution.)
