But...ummm, why did they sit down with Muddy Waters in the first place?
They just take his word he was a corrupter? Or do corrupters go around
drinking spook juice and boasting about their exploits with just anyone?
*Shrug* I just think your observation about diametrically opposed
viewpoints, and that they HATE each other, might be a bit strong. That's
the kind of thing I'd describe templars vs. anti-templars, or green-robed
vs. purple-robed Doomsayers, as. It's hard to imagine a templar pretending
to be an anti-templar, sitting down and casually sharing a drink and
swapping exploits (presumably Muddy Waters had to make up some
pollution-type stories of his own to convince them he was one of theirs),
and then circling around and killing them later.
IMO, they seem to be portrayed more as an "opposite sides of the same coin"
relationship. I don't mean to say they don't fight each other. Just that
they don't seem to be as rabid about it as was mentioned here - that's all.
