[HOE] My Syker Issue
Anyone have any tips on how to get rid of a sword or two and not make it too
obvious that you did it on purpose?
In my HOE game the syker is a two sword kid with an edge the previous
marshal made u pthat gave him a DB from both weapons
and a fightin of 6. Everything that attacks in hth needs a 15 to hit him.
Add in that he gets two attacks every action at 6d12 and that his swords do
STR (3d10) +2d8+2 dmg (minor relics) and he quickly over balances the posse.
Of course hes a syker and has predator and the like so he can rearely be
hit by anything. Oh yeah I almost forgot he drew Mind Rider for his Vet (x2
strain,draw each time, joker=backfire). So his strain is 20, so ideas along
the lines of run him out of strain probably wont work.
The rest of the posse is running low on ammo and are properly balanced, but
hes a meat grinder that can hardly ever be hit or even detected for that
matter.
If I make something that can actually hit him and hurt him (I forgot Kevlar
Vest with armored duster as well-plus he loves forcefield), the rest of the
posse tends to get maimed while hes invisible or immune to damage.
Right now my goal is to take out one or both swords, but to do it in story
without being too obvious, cause Im sure he'll feel picked on if suddenly
things are after
his blades. At the same time though, I hate munchkin characters, which his
seems to be, by design or otherwise, so killing him or taking his toys away
arent out of the question.
Any ideas are welcome. Right now Im bordering on Rust Mites (which wont
really work since they'd honestly go after the posse's jeep), and just plain
vicious things like killing him.
