My players seem to think it a relevant issue... :) More importantly, it's
the kind of stats that Pinnacle drops in from time to time, so they seem to
think some players out there might be interested in them. Personally, I
would agree with you, however.

*heh* Check out the Brave New World mailing list sometime - there are
players there who are _demanding_ such information from Matt Forbeck (who to
date hasn't provided a whole lot, and has told GMs to change his figures if
they don't like them).
I would have to say that I would disagree with you in your assessment. For
good or for ill, there are gamemasters out there who seek exactly this kind
of information. Pinnacle caters to all types.

Ummm, you were able to do so in a paragraph - what would require a half-page
box?

In either Deadlands or HoE, I don't believe Pinnacle has taken the "infinite
army" approach for bad guy groups. They've specified approximiate numbers
on Doomsayers and Templars, as I recall (without taking up half a page).
Whether you or I want such information not doesn't seem relevant - I'd say
the odds are no worse than 50/50 that such a list of figures might be
included in the Denver Sourcebook.
