Yeah, I addressed this question to. But John didn't seem to be actively
monitoring the list as much at that time, so I addressed it in a kinda
general sorta way. I'll be curious to hear the answer too.
One thing though - what kind of "standard" sword does 3d8 damage? According
to the chart on page 59, a Sword and a Battle-ax do STR +2d8 damage (and
given that the Battle-Ax otherwise is worse than the Sword DB and
Speed-wise, one wonders why anyone ever bothers with the latter except to
look cool or because you're an Anti-Templar ;) ), and the Great-Ax does
STR+2d10 (and has the same DB/Speed as a Battle-ax, so again, why bother
with the latter...?).
Granted, you can *everybody say it in chorus :) * "Do anything you want in
your campaign." But since there was no mention that this was a personal GM
variation on the printed rules, I was kinda curious...
