Forcefield seems like a power that was meant to be used to save your
butt, not stand toe-to-toe with some beast trying to eat your face off.
The syker in our posse has used it to draw fire from the rest of our
group or to run across open ground with a sniper taking pot shots at us.
All of this added to the ability to use non-physical attacks seems like
its plenty useful.

I do have a little experience in swordplay so these are my slightly
educated views. A sweep attack should only be used with one weapon and I
would go even farther to say you need both hands on the weapon to pull
off this movie-style manuever.

If you miss an attack in the sequence, you simply move on to the next
target. Since you didn't make contact, there is nothing to stop your
swing from continueing on to the next brainer in line.
