Re: [HoE] Music for the Wasted West
The music I use has a bit more of the country slant
for that western feel.
To start with one I've seen several times suggested, I
use Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds which really don't have
that country bend as I just suggested. I only have the
greatest hits but some friends have the others. Other
Nick related music is PJ Harvey and The Birthday
Party.
The Bad Livers is something I've started listening to
and is perfect for HOE.
Fred Eaglesmith is another great source. He's also
good for WW but some of the lyrics make it more suited
to HOE.
Then there's good ol' Tom Waits. Most 'Tom' will work
but Mule Variations, which is his most recent, has
several songs which are excellent, the best IMO is a
song called 'What's He Building in There', which is
perfect for Junkers.
The newest my group tried out was Gillian Welch which
worked quite well, but I think it'd go good with
either DeadLands setting easily.
Back to the lurkers' corner,
