One's a Banshee Syker, so he's going to end up with something off the
"Veteran of the Faraway War" table that was posted [Jay Kyle wrote it
up, I think?] The other is a Harrowed Super Soldier. The player did a
great job in choosing Hindrances to balance his character out, something
that I as a Marshal appreciate. He took Enemy: Combine at a high enough
level that they've got his number. They know his name an what he looks
like and he'll be the first target in any fight with them [did I mention
the first adventure involves the Combine?] He took Outlaw for to explain
that the manitou got control sometimes and some towns and villages know
him for when he lost Dominion and the manitou decided to go through and
raise Hell. I chose a second Enemy for him off the table. He's got a
Doombringer after him [yes, the bastion of Irradiated Evil Nastiness
(tm).] I told him to hope that someone else in the posse was playing a
Doomie [not like I wouldn't just send another one after him if they
managed to kill the first.] I had originally drawn for a mutation, but
all the ones I got seemed to only affect the living, so I figured that a
Doombringer was close enough to radiation ;]
And, finally, his death wound. He's got Ugly as Sin because of the nasty
scar running across his throat. Of course, it also hit his larnyx, so
he's also Mute, which should prove interesting.
Oh, and he's got a 1d10 Spirit and a Greater Manitou [if you don't know
what this means, ask your Marshal. You'll know how bad it is when he
laughs maniacally ;]
Damn, I love this game!
