Yes. It's sort of a house rule, but Shane's pretty much endorsed it. It
ought to be in the accumumlated rulings, but when drawing for the
coordination on a joker, you can treat a joker as a 5, subject to Marshall
approval.

Make sure you laugh evilly and heavily suggest both characters are now
"marked" in some supernatural way.
