[HoE] East of the Mighty Missip

Hey,

Thanks for the ideas on the head shots with a .22.

So the reason I was asking about East of the Mississippi River is because I
want to send my players there. I have been reading some H.P. Lovecraft.
One of his short stories "The Hound" is about 2 grave robbers who steal a
jade figurine from a grave. The 2 are haunted, one is killed, the other
returns the fig. and then kills himself. So my story idea was to have them
find a village being attacked by "the Hound" and they have to return the
fig. Now if memory serves correct the book says that things are REALLY bad
until you get a good ways east of the Miss. River. So I was going to have
them go a little ways in. Just enought to scare the pee-pee out'a them
good.

Got any ideas?

I've got it pretty well mapped out as to how its going to go, but I was
wondering what you all thought about these ideas:

1. The thing they have to return it too is guarded someplace.
2. The grave they have to return it too is in a city, a big city like
Memphis (right there on the river, lots of neat zombies to kill)
3. What if some of the zombies were not zombies exactly, like they were
under control of something via some kind of evil brain link and they were
some what autotominous, not the classic "UHHH!!! Eat Brains" zombies.
4. What if when they returned to fig. the corpse came back as a harrowed
and fought them there and then continued to hunt them even though the "kill"
it everytime (my personal favorite!).

Thanks for any help!!

Rob the junkiest Junker.
