Note that as I read and wrote this, I just got back
from tutoring in Pre-Calc... which helps my answer.
Some things I do are very obvious to me - maybe I skip
steps, etc. How many of you that still use the
pothagoream theorem still write out "a^2 + b^2 = c^2"
before beginning work? Would it be confusing to show
that work to someone just learning Pothagoream
Theorem? If they know the 2 legs of the right triangle
are 3 & 4 and are trying to find the hypotenuse, does
it make much sense to them if the first thing you
write to show them how is 9+16=25 sqrt(25) = 5?
Mad Scientist's doodles make sense to them because
they know what they were thinking when they wrote it.
Others, to read the blueprint, require a certain roll
(see S&R, not revelant here other than there is a
roll). And only manitou-inspired folks could read it.
Therefore, once the manitou stop talking to you, you
don't know what is written.
To go back to the above example, if I was teaching
Poth. Theorem and just wrote those two lines (9+16=25,
sqrt(25) = 5) and then left, would the kid I tutor
know what it was, not completely knowing what he
started out with? Once the manitou leaves, the
scientist who is being "tutored" by the manitou,
doesn't know what's going on.
