Re: [HoE] Blessed in Hell on Earth --it begins (LONG!)
Whee! I really started something, didn't I? One of the unfortunate side
effects of getting this list digest version is I end up playing a bit of
catch up with you guys...here we go again...:)

This was part of the reason I brought up the topic in the first place; I
wanted to introduce a new "archetype" blessed to the posse as an NPC
with the idea that I would eventually allow them to be played (but more
on that as things develop). Yes, the concept of "free will" and "do as
thou wilt", etc. is a valid point but does not answer why organized
religion (as we know it) seems to have vanished in the HoE environment.

Yes, I agree - which explains the rise of the Cult o' Doom and the
Templars. For all you ex-Gamma Worlders (or perhaps you still play from
time to time...) out there, remember all of the "Cryptic Alliances"
(Archivists, Knights of Genetic Purity, Followers of the Voice,
Radioactivists, etc.). Same type of thing. Speaking of, has anyone
else thought of using anything similar to these in HoE?

Good eyes there, Mr. Jones - forgot about that. :)

Hey - welcome aboard. How's Korea treating you?

Hmmm. Sounds interesting - I'll send off a personal request to you in
a few (when I get done with this). As I said earlier, I'm working on a
new archetype myself. Anyone else out there have new blesseds for HoE
they'd like to share?

I agree with very rare - but I don't agree with this much of mankind
turning against their beliefs. I'd be much more inclined to say that
there are just fewer individuals now have enough faith to call their
deity up on the celestial hotline to get their miracle mojo working.

Nah. Don't bother me none. I enjoy open, intelligent discourse on just
about anything. Bang away.
Almighty th...er...alrighty then. That should bring me back up to speed
(at least until around 11:50 tonight).
(*Phew again!*).
